Queen Opal has been Adopted

Queen Opal

Queen Opal

I wish to take the opportunity to announce that Opal has been adopted. Queen Opal as I so fondly call her found her loving forever home at a Toronto Cat Rescue adopt-a-thon sponsored by Petsmart Charities. I stayed with her the entire time at the adopt-a-thon. The adopt-a-thon was not a place the Queen was too happy to be at but she persevered and impressed all who saw her.

She found a loving woman who was instantly wooed by her beautful dilute tortie fur and her elegance. She returned later in the day to bring the queen home. I am trained as a screener so in addition to showing off Opal I got to screen her new family. Her new family will be the perfect fit for Opal. Opal got her fairy tail (pun intended) ending.

I am not only happy for Queen Opal and her new loving home but also her loving home who will get to experiene all her many charms that comes with adopting feline royalty.

I wish to extend to special thanks to Petsmart Charities for putting together the event as well all the staff at the Petsmart-Kennedy Commons location in Toronto, Canada for all their assistance.

Cleo in a Pillow Fort Keeping the True North Strong and Free

Guarding the Pillow Fort

Happy Canada Day. I know bloggers sometimes take break on holidays but I thought I would write a blog post while I finished my coffee. I managed to improvise a small pillow fort using two pillows and a sofa. Here is a photo of Cleo sticking her head out of the pillows helping to keep the true north strong and free. Happy Canada Day
